Through our 21st Century grant, Southwest Junior High School is offering an after school program to students who need help in core subjects (ELA and Math). Enrollment forms were sent home with students. It is important that the completed forms are returned to the school before the program’s start date.



The program will start on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 with sessions from Tuesday through Friday from 3:05 PM to 5:00 PM. Snacks will be provided at no cost for all tutoring students before the sessions begin each day. For those students who qualify, transportation will be provided.



We highly recommend that your child participates in the academic and enrichment program. With tutoring, your child will have an opportunity to learn key concepts to become a strong, confident student. Your child’s educational success is our priority. There will be no school on Friday August, 30 and Monday September, 2. Classes resume on Tuesday Sep 3rd.

Hello Mustangs,
This is a reminder of the Galileo testing week that start this Monday August 26th. Please follow your teacher directions as well as the school announcements that will be guiding you through the testing schedule.
Moreover, do not forget to bring your own headphones so you can use them while testing.
It is time to start shining!

Southwest Junior High is pleased to announce the First Day of School of the 2019-2020 school year for this August, 5 2019, from 7:30 am to 3:05 pm (NO EARLY DISMISSAL).

Students:
As soon as you get to school head to the cafeteria, once the bell rings everyone must go to our school's gym for a Welcome message and to receive the SCHEDULE. Further directions will be given in the gym.

We can't wait to start with a new year where success and lots of learning is guaranteed!
