Hello Mustang Families,
We want to inform you about a current social media trend challenge that leads to school vandalism and theft of school property. The "devious lick" challenge on TikTok encourages students to show off recordings of themselves stealing and destroying items in schools to post on social media platforms.
Damaging school property is a crime. SWJH does not tolerate events of that kind on our campus. If a student is caught destroying or defacing our campus, there will be consequences for those who choose to engage in this behavior, including law enforcement involvement.
We are asking for your help by discussing the importance of and their expectations for responsible behavior with your children. Would you please emphasize that what students think is a challenge is criminal behavior, not an innocent prank?
